BMW F 450 GS Launch Details
BMW launched the F 450 GS in India at a starting price of Rs. 4.70 lakh for the base variant. This model now serves as the entry point to BMW’s ‘GS’ lineup, replacing the G 310 GS in the Indian market. The F 450 GS features a new 420cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It produces 48bhp at 8,750rpm and 43Nm at 6,750rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle uses a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The first three variants come with alloy wheels, while the ‘Trophy’ variant offers tubeless wire-spoke wheels.
Classic Legends: BSA and Yezdi Launches
Classic Legends introduced the BSA Scrambler 650 in India, with prices starting from Rs. 3,24,950. The bike is powered by a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, four-valve engine with twin spark plugs. It delivers 44.5bhp and 55Nm at 4,000rpm. The Scrambler 650 is designed for strong low and mid-range performance, making it suitable for city riding, rough roads, and short trails. Key dimensions include an 820mm seat height, 1,465mm wheelbase, and 187mm ground clearance.
Classic Legends also launched the 2026 Yezdi Scrambler. The new model is priced at Rs. 2 lakh, about Rs. 4,000 more than the previous version. The motorcycle features updated design, hardware, and improved chassis stiffness. The suspension setup remains unchanged, with telescopic forks and a monoshock. Ground clearance stays at 200mm, while seat height has increased by 13mm to 813mm.
KTM 390 Adventure and Duke Updates
KTM launched the 390 Adventure with a new 350cc engine at Rs 2.80 lakh. This version will be sold alongside the existing 399cc models, which start at Rs 3.43 lakh. The new 350cc, single-cylinder engine produces 40.43bhp and 33.5Nm of torque. The 399cc engine offers 44.2bhp and 39Nm. The 350cc engine aims to benefit from lower taxes for bikes under 350cc, though it delivers slightly less performance.
KTM also introduced the 350cc version of the 390 Duke in India, priced at Rs. 2.77 lakh. This makes it about Rs. 62,000 cheaper than the 399cc Duke, which now carries the ‘R’ suffix and remains on sale. The 350cc Duke’s engine has a reduced stroke length of 56.15mm, while the bore stays at 89mm. The 350cc Duke produces 40.9bhp and 33.5Nm, compared to the 399cc version’s 45.3bhp and 39Nm.
