Kia Motors India has announced that the registration of bookings for the all-new Kia Carens Clavis EV started from July 22, 2025, onwards. India’s first 7-seater electric MPV can now be booked for Rs 25,000 online or by visiting authorized Kia dealerships. The official price of the Caren Clavis EV starts from Rs 17.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The top variant of the car is priced beyond Rs 20.00 Lakh (ex-showroom). Let's take a look at the insights of the booking for the all-new Cwrens Clavis EV.
The booking of the Kia Carens Clavis EV can be done in two ways. One, customers can now reserve their unit through Kia’s official website, and two, by visiting authorized dealerships nationwide. If the customer has selected the drive according to their preference, then they have to pay an initial token amount of Rs 25,000 to confirm their respective booking.
The car is available in 4 different variants, depending on the battery pack options available for customers. Check out the list of variants and pricing in the list below.
Variants | Ex-Showroom Price |
HTK + | Rs 17.99 Lakh |
HTX | Rs 20.49 Lakh |
HTX ER | Rs 22.49 Lakh |
HTX+ | Rs 24.49 Lakh |
The all-new 2025 Kia Carens Clavis EV is positioned between 17 lakh and 24.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The company claims that the car will give tough competition to its rivals, such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE6, and Tata Curvv EV. Even when compared to the BYD eMax 7, which is priced at Rs 26.09 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Carens Clavis EV plays a significant role in terms of providing a more affordable vehicle across the nation.
Kia Carens Clavis EV is available with two battery pack options for Indian customers. The first is the 42 kWh battery pack that comes as a standard option. This battery setup is capable of producing 135 PS and 255 Nm of torque. Whereas the second is the 51.4 kWh battery pack that generates 169 PS along with 255 Nm of torque.
The standard battery pack claims a range of 404 km on a single charge, while the larger battery offers a 490 km range; both are ARAI rated. The top speed of the electric MPV is estimated to be about 167 kmph. With such speed, the car can move from 0 to 100 in just 8.1 seconds.

Talking about its features, the car comes with fast charging capabilities. With a 100 kW DC charger, the car can easily charge from 10% to 80% in just 39 seconds. While getting inside the cabin, you may see a 26-inch dual panoramic display panel. The customers also get a smart infotainment system with temperature control and 64-color ambient lighting.
Considering the safety features, the car is equipped with an ADAS Level 2 with 20 autonomous driving features. The vehicle also offers a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and 7 airbags. The Kia Carens Clavis EV comes in 6 distinct color options: Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Gray, Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, and Ivory Silver Matte.
With booking, customers can now choose their favorite Kia Carens Clavis EV. The best thing about this car is that the vehicle is priced at a remarkable price and has no direct rivals considering this price segment. We believe that customers should give this car a primary counterpart to what the company has received with its ICE version.
