Kia India Achieves Record-Breaking Sales in October 2025 with 30% Y-o-Y Growth
Kia India sets a new sales record in October 2025 with 29,556 units sold, marking a 30% increase year-over-year, driven by popular SUVs and growing electric vehicle demand.

Kia India has officially announced its sales report for October 2025. The Korean brand has achieved its highest sales since entering the Indian market. October 2025 saw the company deliver an impressive 29,556 units, which reflects a robust 30% year-on-year growth compared to 22,735 units sold in October 2024. This figure underscores Kia's growing expansion and customer trust in a competitive automotive landscape.
October 2025 was fueled by a festive season that boosted sales and strategic product launches. Kia's October sales success highlights its expanding portfolio's appeal among Indian consumers. For the 2025 edition, the company continues to innovate with new models and electric vehicles, strengthening its commitment to promoting sustainable mobility.
Growth Momentum
Kia India sold around 29,556 units—the highest in any month since the brand’s Indian debut. This achievement reflects a strong 30% growth versus the same month in 2024, driven by market dynamics including GST reform, lowering prices, and increased consumer spending during the festive season. The year-to-date sales volume reached 236,138 units, marking a 10% rise over the 215,443 units sold during the same period in 2024.
Models Driving the Surge

The compact SUV Kia Sonet led with its best-ever monthly sales of 12,745 units, continuing its dominance in the compact SUV segment. Furthermore, the recently launched Kia Carens Clavis, along with its electric variant, the Carens Clavis EV, jointly contributed 8,779 units, demonstrating rising consumer acceptance of EVs. Similarly, the brand’s flagship SUV, the Kia Seltos, maintained its strong traction with 7,130 units sold, reinforcing its position in the mid-size SUV segment.
Electric Vehicle Momentum
Kia’s commitment to electrification is the newly launched Kia Carens Clavis EV, which has quickly become a key player in the electric seven-seater category. Introduced in July 2025, the model's expansion to six variants by October underscored the brand’s focus on future-ready mobility solutions, aligning with India’s sustainability goals.

He later added, “Our diverse portfolio continues to connect strongly with evolving consumers' needs. The growing contribution of our EV range further validates our direction toward sustainable mobility for India. This achievement has inspired us to continue making vehicles that combine technology, safety, and styling for a progressive driving experience.”
Conclusion
With a broadened product lineup including electrified models and SUVs, Kia is well-positioned to sustain this momentum as it navigates the rapidly evolving market. The company’s strategic focus on customer-centric innovation and sustainability will be key drivers in its continued growth trajectory.
