Kia India Delivers Best Sales Record With 105% Y-o-Y Growth, Sold Around 280,286 Units in December 2025
Kia India wraps CY2025 with blockbuster 18,659 December sales, around 105% up, totaling 2.8 lakh units. The Kia Sonet dominates, and EVs rise in the sales surge.

Kia India has signed off Calendar Year 2025 with its strongest performance yet, closing the year at 280,286 wholesale units, a robust 15% year‑on‑year rise over the 245,000 units dispatched in CY2024, underlining the brand’s sustained momentum in the intensely competitive mass‑premium passenger vehicle space and reaffirming its positioning as a growth-focused, innovation‑led OEM in India.
December 2025 capped this performance with a record monthly tally of 18,659 units, the highest December volume for Kia India since its market debut in 2019 and a sharp 105% YoY jump over the 8,957 units sold in December 2024, with the surge supported by improved consumer sentiment, GST‑driven affordability, festive‑season spillover, and a refreshed SUV and MPV lineup.
Double-Digit Growth in CY2025
Kia Motors India shows 15% annual growth in CY2025, building on a year that consistently outperformed the previous cycle, with the company already surpassing its full‑year CY2024 volume by November on the back of strong festive‑season dispatches.
External industry data shows Kia had sold around 2.36 lakh units till October 2025, reflecting about 10% year-to-date growth at that stage, with the final push in November–December selling around 280,286 units in the final month of the 2025 season.
