Kia India has announced that they are taking a major step forward in strengthening customer confidence in the used car market by expanding its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program. The company has introduced the new warranty plans for both Kia and multi-brand vehicles, aiming to boost customer confidence in buying Kia models in the used car segment.

The company has extended the eligibility of certified vehicles from 5 years to 7 years, now allowing pre-owned Kia cars up to seven years old to be certified under its program initiative. This upgrade comes with an impressive warranty of up to 24 months or 40,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first, promising buyers added peace of mind and security when purchasing a used Kia vehicle.

Extended Warranty and Certification Age

With the update to the existing 7-year certified program, the brand has also designed to broaden the spectrum of vehicles eligible for the certification. To improve the customer experience and relationship, Kia has also introduced warranty coverage up to 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever is earlier. The vehicle is offering one of the most competitive warranty packages in the Indian pre-owned car market. This allows buyers to enjoy long-term protection similar to that offered on new vehicles, thereby enhancing the overall value proposition for used Kia cars.

Moreover, Kia has also offered multi-brand certification and warranty coverage. Customers looking to buy pre-owned vehicles from other manufacturers can also benefit, with these cars receiving warranty protection of up to 12 months or 15,000 kilometers. This bold move enhances Kia’s role in the organized used car sector, making quality certified vehicles more accessible while raising industry standards for transparency and trust.

Multi-Brand Pre-Owned Coverage

According to the latest news, Kia has introduced certification and warranty services for vehicles of other brands through its Certified Pre-Owned network. These multi-brand cars undergo the same challenging 175-point inspection and come with a warranty of up to 12 months or 15,000 km. By doing so, Kia not only reinforces its commitment to quality assurance but also addresses a significant gap in the used car market.

Expanding Network and Customer Trust

Currently operational across 114 outlets in India, Kia’s Certified Pre-Owned network is rapidly growing and aims to cover more cities soon. This expansion not only simplifies access to certified used cars but also reinforces Kia’s vision of creating a trustworthy marketplace for pre-owned vehicles.
