Leaked images reveal the interior of Mahindra's upcoming Thar Roxx, a five-door SUV set to launch on August 15. ‘THE’ SUV flaunts new features and design elements.

Leaked Spy Shots Reveal Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV Interior Features Ahead of Launch

Recent spy shots have unveiled the interior of the upcoming Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV, scheduled for launch on August 15, India's Independence Day. The leaked images and video provide a glimpse into the cabin of the five-door version of the standard Thar, showcasing several new features and design elements. The Thar Roxx is expected to introduce significant changes to both its exterior and interior, setting it apart from its three-door counterpart.

The leaked video reveals a spacious interior with white leatherette seat covering, a first for the Thar model. The second row accommodates three passengers with adjustable headrests.

Interior updates of the Thar ROXX:

Three-point seat belts
Rear AC vents
Power windows
Single-pane sunroof (panoramic sunroof expected in higher trims)
Larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, sourced from XUV 3XO
New digital driver display
Three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls (similar to XUV700)

Exterior design elements of the Thar ROXX:

C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding circular LED headlights
Redesigned grille
New alloy wheels
C-shaped LED taillights
Rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar

Talking about the engine, the Thar Roxx is expected to offer a 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol engine, both available with manual and automatic transmission options. While higher variants will feature all-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive versions with traction control modes are also anticipated.

Upon its launch, the Mahindra Thar Roxx will join the Force Gurkha as the second lifestyle SUV offering both three-door and five-door variants in the Indian market. It will also compete with other SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
