- Striking design with protective features
- Massive sunroof adds a touch of luxury
- Customizable rugged accessories for adventurous drivers
Mahindra, the pioneering force in India's electric vehicle (EV) landscape, is gearing up for a spectacular launch with its next-generation electric cars. Among these, the BE range stands out with models like BE.05, BE.07, BE Rall-E, and BE.09. Not to be outdone, the XUV range boasts the XUV.e8 and XUV.e9. Adding to the excitement is the upcoming Thar.e (Electric Thar), a spectacle awaiting its grand reveal.
Mahindra BE Rall-E Spotted
As Mahindra enthusiasts eagerly await the arrival of the BE series, spy shots of the BE Rall-E have surfaced, offering a sneak peek into the offroad variant of the BE.05 electric SUV. Maintaining similar dimensions to its coupe sibling, the Rall-E distinguishes itself with a rugged off-road design language.
The distinctive features of the Rall-E include round headlamps, encased in a protective layer, a robust bumper with a tow hook, and functional metallic skid plates at the front and rear. The C-shaped LED DRLs of the BE.05 have given way to a single-strip LED format, contributing to its unique aesthetic. Thicker cladding, off-road tires, and a more robust rear bumper complete the off-road look.

Customization Options
Potential buyers of the BE Rall-E will have the option to tailor their vehicles with off-road-focused accessories, such as a roof-mounted carrier. This carrier allows users to load essentials like jerry cans and a spare wheel, enhancing the SUV's off-road capabilities. While the interior details are yet to be revealed, it is anticipated that the Rall-E will feature a more rugged theme compared to the luxurious touch offered by the BE.05.
Mahindra BE Rall-E Specs and Performance
Built on Mahindra's INGLO platform, a versatile foundation for the brand's next-gen electric SUVs, the Rall-E is expected to deliver a top speed of 200 km/h. Tailored for off-road adventures, the Rall-E might feature increased ground clearance, achieved through larger tires and a robust suspension setup.
Powering the Rall-E could be a 60 to 80 kWh battery pack, available in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations. Given its off-road focus, the powertrain may undergo tweaks, especially in the battery management system, to handle the demands of challenging terrains.
Anticipated Launch and Market Positioning
With the BE.05 scheduled for launch in October 2025, the BE Rall-E is likely to follow in the subsequent months. Geared towards a niche customer base, the Rall-E is expected to command premium pricing, offering an adventurous and eco-friendly driving experience.
