The Indian automobile industry is currently moving toward a discount progression as the festival season draws near next month. Like most market brands, Mahindra & Mahindra is also gearing up to offer discounts on all its SUVs and MPVs across the portfolio. After the implementation of the GST 2.0, additional discounts will also be offered to the Indian customers. With additional savings made possible by the recently implemented GST rate reduction from 28% to 18%.
The buyers can now acquire their preferred Mahindra model at much more affordable prices. From the compact SUVs to rugged and spacious MPVs, Mahindra’s portfolio sees benefits ranging from cash discounts to significant price revisions post-GST cuts. A detailed overview of all Mahindra models' offerings, variant-specific pricing, and GST-induced price drops is provided below. Let’s check out what Mahindra has to offer this festive season.
Impact of GST Reduction on Mahindra Models
The introduction of the GST tax reforms by the government of India has aggressively pushed Mahindra to revise the prices after the GST rate cuts. Smaller SUVs and entry-level variants, including popular models like the Bolero Neo, XUV3XO, and Thar 2WD, have seen price drops ranging between Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.56 lakh.
On the other hand, larger SUVs and premium variants have experienced substantial reductions of up to Rs 1.45 lakh. These GST-induced prices have reduced the prices of the cars up to Rs 3 lakh on selected models. This will ultimately boost the sales figures and also attract new customers who are looking to own a Mahindra car.
