The XEV 9S is positioned as India’s first mass-market three-row electric SUV, emphasizing space and comfort. The interiors are highlighted by ventilated leatherette seats, multi-zone climate control, and lounge-like soft-touch materials, reinforcing its family-centric appeal.

Power output is estimated between 231 HP and 286 HP, delivering 380 Nm of torque, which provides a balanced mix of performance and efficiency.

Range is one of the highlights, with the XEV 9S projected to offer approximately 542 km to 656 km, suitable for both urban use and long highway trips. Higher variants may support ultra-fast DC charging, reducing downtime and increasing convenience for long-distance travel.

Premium Features and Safety

Mahindra has equipped the XEV 9S with up to seven airbags, electronic stability control, and advanced driver-assistance systems (Level 2 ADAS), including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist. Safety features also include a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
