Mahindra's XUV 7XO continues to attract strong demand at dealerships, making it one of the brand’s fastest-selling SUVs alongside the Scorpio range. During a recent visit to a Mahindra showroom, steady customer interest was evident, with deliveries of the XUV 7XO taking place throughout the day.
Key Highlights
- Mahindra XUV 7XO remains one of the brand’s fastest-selling SUVs
- AX7 Tech is the highest-selling trim with a two to three month waiting period
- No official discounts but accessory packages worth Rs 40000 are offered as optional
Current Sales Trends
Dealership executives report that the AX7 Tech variant is the highest-selling trim in the XUV 7XO lineup. Dealers are positioning the AX7 as the most value-for-money option due to its features and overall package. This strong demand has led to longer waiting periods for the upper-end trims. Both the AX7 Tech and AX7 L variants currently have a waiting period of approximately two to three months. The exact duration depends on colour choice and stock availability at each dealership.
There are no official discounts or cash benefits available on any XUV 7XO variant at this time. However, dealers mention that customers can negotiate for better value on insurance packages. Accessory packages worth around Rs. 40,000 are also being offered, but these are optional and can be customised or negotiated based on buyer preference.
Production and Availability Updates
Dealership sources revealed that production of the AX5 variant has not yet fully commenced. While Mahindra has not officially confirmed this, it may explain the limited availability of certain mid-spec trims. The XEV 9S, another model from Mahindra, is also seeing increased sales momentum. During the showroom visit, two units each of the XUV 7XO and XEV 9S were delivered to customers, highlighting healthy activity for both internal combustion engine and electric vehicle offerings.
It is important to note that this information is based on observations and interactions at a single dealership. Waiting periods, availability, discounts, and sales trends may vary depending on the city, dealership, and current stock situation.
