As the year approaches its end, car dealerships across the country are ramping up efforts to clear unsold inventory, offering substantial discounts and benefits. Maruti Suzuki's Arena line-up, which includes an array of popular hatchbacks and SUVs, is leading the charge with compelling year-end deals. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the offers available on some of Maruti’s best-selling models this December.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
The current-generation Swift, powered by the new Z Series 82hp, 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, is now available with discounts of up to ₹60,000, depending on the variant. Customers opting for the Swift CNG can benefit from discounts totaling ₹55,000, an increase of ₹35,000 compared to previous months.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
A perennial favorite in the practical hatchback segment, the Wagon R offers discounts as follows:
- 1.0-litre petrol variant (67hp): Up to ₹45,000
- 1.2-litre petrol variant (90hp): Up to ₹49,700
CNG variant (57hp): Around ₹40,000
Despite maintaining the same benefits as last month, these discounts continue to make the Wagon R an attractive year-end choice.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
The Celerio, built on the same platform as the Alto and S-Presso, offers year-end benefits of ₹40,000 to ₹45,000, depending on the variant and location. It shares the familiar 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine and offers both manual and AMT gearbox options.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10
The Alto K10, a consistent budget-friendly choice, features a 1.0-litre petrol engine (67hp) and a CNG variant (57hp). Discounts of ₹40,000 are available across the board, with both manual and AMT gearbox options adding versatility.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
Known for its compact dimensions and SUV-inspired styling, the S-Presso offers the following benefits:
- Petrol variants: Discounts of around ₹40,000
- CNG variants: Benefits totaling ₹45,000
- It retains the same engine and gearbox options as the Alto K10.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
While the new Dzire remains exempt from discounts, dealers are still clearing the previous-generation Dzire equipped with the 90hp, 1.2-litre K Series engine. Official discounts are pegged at ₹15,000, but customers may negotiate further benefits based on local inventory.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza
Maruti’s compact SUV, the Brezza, offers ₹15,000 in direct benefits, along with discounted accessory packages worth ₹15,000 or ₹25,000. It is powered by either a 103hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine or an 88hp, 1.5-litre petrol-CNG engine. Notably, the CNG variant is not included in the year-end discount scheme.
Why Year-End Discounts Matter
Year-end sales provide an excellent opportunity for buyers to secure significant savings, especially on older stock or outgoing variants. For Maruti Suzuki, these offers also serve as a strategic push to maintain its dominant market share and meet sales targets before the new year.
If you’re in the market for a new car, these deals on Maruti’s Arena line-up could help you drive home a brand-new vehicle at a significantly reduced cost. However, it’s advisable to act swiftly, as offers may vary based on stock availability and location.
