Maruti Suzuki has announced a price increase for its range of models, effective June 2026. The hike will see prices rise by up to Rs 30,000. The latest revision affects the Jimny, the brand’s five-door 4WD SUV, which has become more expensive by Rs 7,500.
Key Highlights
- The Maruti Jimny price increased by Rs 7,500 across all variants.
- New prices range from Rs 12.39 lakh to Rs 14.52 lakh ex-showroom.
- A price hike applies to Zeta and Alpha trims with both transmission options.
- Other carmakers have also announced price revisions for June and July.
Revised Jimny Pricing Details
The price increase applies to all Maruti Jimny variants. This includes both Zeta and Alpha trims, covering manual and automatic transmissions, as well as mono-tone and dual-tone paint options. The new ex-showroom prices for the Jimny now start at Rs 12.39 lakh for the entry-level Zeta petrol manual transmission variant. The top-end Alpha petrol automatic transmission dual-tone variant is now priced at Rs 14.52 lakh.
The Jimny competes with other compact off-road SUVs in the Indian market, such as the Mahindra Thar. The price revision is consistent across the entire Jimny lineup, ensuring that all buyers will see the same increase regardless of their chosen variant.
Industry-Wide Price Revisions
Maruti is not the only automaker to announce price increases during this period. Several other car manufacturers have also revised prices in the June-July timeframe. These adjustments reflect broader industry trends, where manufacturers are responding to rising input costs and other market factors.
Customers planning to purchase a new vehicle may need to account for these changes in their budgets. The revised prices are now in effect and apply to all new bookings and deliveries from June 2026 onward.

CarBike 360 Says
The latest price revision for the Maruti Jimny, although modest, reflects ongoing market adjustments and rising input costs. Despite the hike of up to Rs 7500, the Jimny continues to hold strong appeal among off-road enthusiasts due to its rugged capability and unique positioning. Buyers considering the SUV may still find it a compelling choice in its segment.
