The exclusive edition celebrates the Indian monsoon with a unique Manufaktur paint finish. It features Mid-Green Mango, inspired by India’s vibrant greenery during the monsoon, and Red Mango, inspired by the country’s iron-rich soil.
Limited to only 30 units, the Mercedes-AMG G63 Collector’s Edition has launched in India at a price tag of Rs 4.30 crore. Mercedes has claimed that the new model features the essence of India and gets inspiration from the country's monsoon season. The new Mercedes-AMG G63 Collector’s Edition bookings have commenced, and the deliveries have been scheduled for Q4 of 2025. It is important to know that only top-end customers of Mercedes-Benz are eligible to buy the brand’s new limited edition model.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition gets the same 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology as the standard version of the G63 SUV. The engine unit produces 585 bhp of power output and 850 Nm of torque.
The Integrated Starter Generator also delivers 20 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. The 4.0-liter bi-turbo engine is paired with a 9-speed DCT transmission with paddle shifters, sending power to all four wheels using a 4Matic system. Mercedes-Benz has claimed the engine setup ensures 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.4 seconds.
The exclusive edition pays tribute to the Indian monsoon with its special Manufaktur paint finish. It includes the Mid-Green Mango, which is inspired by India’s lush greenery during the monsoon, and Red Mango, which is inspired by India’s iron-rich soil. There is also a ‘One of Thirty’ plaque on the rear spare wheel cover and a distinctive finish for the side protection strip that runs through the length of the vehicle. Mercedes has offered 22-inch AMG-specific alloy wheels that are finished in gold trim.
The interior features two-tone Manufaktur Catalana Beige and Black Nappa leather seat upholstery and open-pore natural walnut wood trim across the dashboard. To make the AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition even more special, the automaker offers customers to engrave their name on the dashboard grab handle.
In India, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV is already popular and has a waiting period of around 12-18 months. Since the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition is available in only 30 numbers, the automaker has decided to allocate this exclusive edition model to its top-end customers.
