The most powerful variant accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in 4.4 seconds. In comparison, the BMW X5's fastest variant, with a 375bhp inline-six petrol engine, achieves 0-100kmph in 5.8 seconds. The GLE's diverse powertrain options provide both performance and efficiency, giving it an edge over competitors.

The GLE update introduces advanced features such as multiple suspension choices. Options include steel suspension, AIRMATIC, E-active body control, an off-road package, and AMG ride control.
