MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Launched in India: Price, Features & What’s New

MG Motor India just rolled out the Blackstorm Edition of its Comet EV, starting at ₹7.80 lakh. This limited version amps up the style with a glossy Starry Black paint job and bold red accents on the bumper, skid plate, and hood badges. Inside, the cabin sticks to the dark theme—all-black upholstery with red stitching and custom ‘Blackstorm’ logos on the headrests.

Built on the top-tier Exclusive variant, it keeps the tech goodies: dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and a 4-speaker audio setup. Safety isn’t skimped on either—dual airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and a rear camera come standard.

Under the hood (or, well, the floor), it’s the same setup as the regular Comet EV—a 17.3 kWh battery that MG says can hit 230 km per charge. Interested? You can reserve one with an ₹11,000 deposit.
