Key Specifications and Variants

The MG Majestor features a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. This engine produces 213bhp and 478Nm of torque. MG pairs this engine with an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations, depending on the variant.
The Majestor will be available in three variants: Sharp 4x2, Savvy 4x2, and Savvy 4x4. Customers can select either a six-seat or seven-seat layout. Pre-bookings are open at Rs. 41,000 ahead of the official launch.
Design and Feature Highlights
The exterior of the Majestor includes a new grille, updated LED lighting, redesigned bumpers, and newly styled alloy wheels. Other design elements are roof rails, blacked-out pillars, faux skid plates, and dual exhaust tips, which enhance the SUV’s rugged appearance.
Inside, the Majestor offers premium upholstery, a large infotainment system, ADAS technology, and a panoramic sunroof. The cabin also features multiple comfort enhancements. The SUV’s large dimensions and ladder-frame construction further position it as a strong alternative to the Toyota Fortuner and similar models.
Market Position and Pricing
The MG Majestor is expected to be priced between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 45 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing positions it to challenge the Toyota Fortuner’s dominance in the segment. The Majestor’s updated styling, expanded feature list, and competitive pricing may appeal to buyers seeking a modern, tech-focused full-size SUV.
