MG Majestor Spied Undisguised Before Its Official Launch
While the automaker confirms limited specification details, the upcoming MG Majestor SUV has the same 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine found in the Gloster. The engine produces 158.7 bhp and 373.5 Nm of peak torque.
JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch its flagship ICE-powered MG Majestor SUV in India. The SUV was showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo. This seven-seater family SUV has been spotted undisguised while testing on Indian roads. The automaker is aiming to position this upcoming SUV above the MG Gloster.

The SUV is based on the Maxus D90 SUV, also available for sale in select global markets. It features a large front grille in gloss black and a split headlamp design with LED daytime running lights (DRLs) positioned above the main headlamp cluster, arranged vertically in the bumper. On the side profile, it packs 19-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish. The Majestor also gets dual exhaust tips, connected tail lamps with a wraparound design, and chunky skid plates.

The engine produces 158.7 bhp and 373.5 Nm of peak torque. Another twin-turbo diesel engine option produces 212.5 bhp and 478.5 Nm of torque. Both engine options have an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission system, and power is transferred to the wheels through a 4-wheel drive system.
MG Majestor SUV Features
Like any other MG Motor vehicle, the upcoming Majestor SUV is also expected to have a comprehensive suite of cutting-edge features. It could feature a free-standing 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a new all-digital instrument cluster with customization options. The cabin is to feature an all-black theme finish with several tech features, including a wireless phone charger, electric tailgate, premium sound system, tire pressure monitoring system, 360-degree camera, electronically controlled parking brakes, auto hold, and a Level 2 ADAS feature for improved ride quality and safety.
MG Majestor Expected Price & Rivals
The MG Majestor SUV is expected to be priced from Rs 45 lakh ex-showroom and will rival flagship seven-seater SUVs in India, such as the Toyota Fortuner Legender and Nissan X-Trail.
