MG Windsor Pro EV Arrives Showrooms Across India

Earlier this month, JSW MG Motor India expanded its Windsor EV lineup with the launch of Windsor Pro EV, called Essence Pro, and positioned as the top-end variant for this model. MG Motor kept the showroom price of Rs 17.5 lakh for early bird buyers, which was limited to the first 8000 bookings. With its updated pricing, the EV is available at Rs 18.10 lakh, ex-showroom. 

After launching in India, the automaker ensured that the Essence Pro could arrive at MG showrooms nationwide. Customers have been given the choice to choose the brand’s BaaS program, where the EV will cost only 13.10 lakh and an additional Rs 4.5 per kilometer. As of the latest data, the Windsor EV Pro is available at MG showrooms across the country, and customers can easily purchase it through their nearest dealership. 

The EV has new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and ADAS badging on the tailgate. Three new color options are available in Essence Pro, including Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. Additionally, the exterior design is mostly unchanged except for some exclusive badging. Inside the cabin, one can find new Ivory White and Black theme options. Importantly, MG has offered several safety features, including Level-2 ADAS, a powered tailgate, and V2L and V2V functions. 

It continues to sport a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, a wireless phone charger, and a 9-speaker Infinity sound system. Moreover, a larger 52.9 kW battery pack is available in the Windsor EV Pro that can offer a maximum range of 449 km on a single charge. However, the power delivery has remained unchanged; the EV still gets a single electric motor capable of delivering 136 PS and 200 Nm torque.
