At a booking amount of Rs 11,000, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL)has formally launched reservations for the much awaited 4th Generation Dzire. The Dzire, which is scheduled for release on November 11, 2024, promises cutting-edge amenities, creative design enhancements, and outstanding value as it builds on its standing as India's best-selling small sedan. The 4th Generation Dzire is expected to retail between Rs 6.50 lakh and Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom), in line with the model's premium features and market-leading offers, even if official price information has not yet been released.
Redesigned Exterior
The Fourth Generation Dzire differs from its predecessors in that it adopts a strong, forward-thinking design language. The exterior's main features include:
- Headlights and the front grille: streamlined LED headlights with built-in turn indicators and a redesigned front grille.
- Rear Styling: A shark fin antenna, chrome highlights, and new tail lamps add to the sedan's overall elegance and contemporary appearance.
Features First in the Segment
To keep the Dzire competitive, Maruti has included a number of special features. One of these is a single-pane sunroof, which is a noteworthy addition to the small car market and raises the Dzire's standing among its competitors.
Powertrain Options: Petrol and CNG
Under the hood, the Dzire will feature a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine delivering 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque. The powertrain is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox, ensuring a balance between performance and fuel efficiency. Maruti is expected to launch a CNG variant soon after, providing an economical choice for fuel-conscious buyers.
Enhanced Comfort and Premium Interiors
The new Dzire's interior has a high-end dual-tone design of beige and black. Additional internal characteristics consist of:
Seating Options: Higher variations get soft leatherette seats, while cheaper trims have fabric upholstery.
Convenience features include rear AC vents, push-button start/stop, automated temperature control, and a 4.2-inch MID in the instrument cluster.
Connectivity: Numerous Type-A and Type-C USB connections for passengers in the backseat.
Advanced Safety Features
With a strong safety package that includes six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts, the 2024 Dzire seeks to offer a safe driving experience. Additionally, a 360-degree surround vision camera will be included.
