The Indian SUV landscape is up to its peak trajectory. With the launch of the latest EVs this month, we can finally say that the electrification of Indian automotive is taking its next-generation shape. Apart from EVs, many petrol-powered vehicles have been seen testing near the manufacturing facility. The latest on the list is the all-new Mahindra Bolero NEO. The upcoming SUV has been spotted testing on the road.

We have already seen the car has been spotted several times, wrapped under heavy camouflage. The Bolero has been one of the mainstream portfolios in Mahindra’s lineup for over two decades. There have been no changes in design and dimension since the early 2000s. Now, Mahindra appears poised to redefine this legacy with a thoroughly modern makeover while retaining its signature utilitarian appeal.

Next-Gen Bolero NEO: Video Highlights & Details

has finally completed the assembly and the development of the all-new Bolero and is ready to debut the next-gen Bolero for Indian customers. Over the last few months, we have seen the SUV getting tested on the road. Now, this time, a video clip has surfaced on YouTube by Gokul Kannau Kongu on their YouTube channel. In the video, the next-gen Bolero Neo has been undergoing on-road testing in Kolli Malai, Tamil Nadu.

Bold New Design with Heritage Cues

As per the reports, spy shots confirm that the new Bolero NEO will debut with a completely redesigned body shell but will continue with the robust ladder-frame chassis. The designs seem to be carried from the mini Land Rover Defender aesthetics. The front fascia of the car will be rugged and boxy, with a vertical slat grille integrated in the front. The car will offer projector headlamps, reminiscent of the Thar Roxx, and new alloy wheels boost its road presence.

Interiors and Features

Considering the dimension, the vehicle seems to be short from the side profile revealed. The car will give tough competition to the Hyundai Creta and Maruti E-Vitara. While getting inside the cabin. You may witness a ton of premium features. The car might have premium leather upholstery with front passenger ventilated seats. On the dashboard lies the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The car may offer the following features:
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Semi-digital instrument cluster
  • Automatic climate control
  • Level 2 ADAS
  • Lane Keep Assist
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • 18-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels

These updates aim to address modern demands while maintaining the Bolero’s utilitarian edge.

Enhanced Engine options

As per the reports, the all-new Mahindra Bolero Neo engine options have not been revealed by the company. However, experts' speculations suggest that the engine could be a little enhanced from the current powerful existing model. The current engine options are available as an mHAWK75 that generates 75 PS and 210 Nm of torque. While the other is a 1.5L diesel powertrain producing 100 PS with 260 Nm of torque.
