Exterior and Interior Features

The Nissan Gravite Visia features a black honeycomb grille with a chrome strip and C-shaped bumper accents. It uses basic projector halogen headlamps and lacks LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. The car rides on 14-inch steel wheels, not alloys. Roof rails and integrated turn indicators on the outside mirrors are absent. Door handles are black, and there is no protective cladding on the lower doors. At the rear, the Visia uses conventional tail lamps instead of LEDs. The thick black bumper with C-shaped silver accents remains.
The Visia variant is available in only two of the five color options. Colors like Onyx Black, Metallic Grey, and Forest Green are exclusive to higher trims. The cabin is finished in all-black fabric upholstery. The dashboard keeps the same black and beige layout as higher trims, but there is no infotainment system. The front windows are powered, while rear passengers use manual window levers. Outside mirrors are also manually adjustable.

Practicality and Safety
The Gravite Visia offers height-adjustable headrests for the second and third rows. The second row can slide and recline, improving access to the third row. The third-row seats are removable for extra boot space. The second row splits 60:40 and offers fold and tumble functions. The instrument cluster uses analog dials and a 3.5-inch multi-information display. Air conditioning is manual, with no rear vents. Features such as a wireless phone charger, push-button start/stop, PM2.5 air filter, cooled glovebox, and upper glovebox are not included.
Despite the basic features, safety is not compromised. The Gravite Visia comes with six airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, traction control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It lacks rain-sensing wipers, a rear parking camera, and a rear wiper with defogger.
Engine, Transmission, and Pricing
The Visia variant is available only with a manual gearbox. It uses a 1-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. Higher variants offer an automated manual transmission (AMT) with a claimed mileage of up to 19.6 kmpl. The Gravite Visia is priced at Rs 5.65 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, pan-India). The Gravite MPV range goes up to Rs 8.94 lakh.
The Nissan Gravite competes with the Renault Triber and is a more affordable alternative to models like the Maruti Ertiga, Maruti XL6, Toyota Rumion, Kia Carens, and Kia Carens Clavis.
Conclusion
The Nissan Gravite Visia base variant delivers exceptional value at ₹5.65 lakh, blending robust safety with 6 airbags, ESP, and a flexible 7-seater setup ideal for Indian families. Its projector lamps, digital cluster, and 19.3 kmpl efficiency make it a smart pick over rivals like Ertiga or Triber.
