The new concept revives the Terrano name, last seen in India as a midsize SUV based on the Renault Duster. This latest version shifts to a more rugged, off-road-focused design.

Exterior Design and Features

The Nissan Terrano Concept adopts a boxy stance with upright proportions, emphasizing utility. At the front, it features segmented LED headlamps, a bold grille with spaced-out Nissan branding, and a sculpted bumper that adds to its muscular look. Fender-mounted auxiliary lights and a bonnet scoop further highlight its off-road character.

The side profile continues the robust theme with prominent body cladding, squared wheel arches, and chunky off-road tyres. Practical elements include a roof rack with integrated lighting and a side-mounted ladder, suggesting the vehicle targets adventure-oriented users. The window line has a noticeable kink, breaking up the straight-edged silhouette.

Rear Design and Powertrain

At the rear, the Terrano Concept features a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, secured by a structural beam. The lighting setup is minimalistic, using several compact LED elements. The bumper design maintains the SUV's rugged appearance.

Nissan has confirmed the Terrano Concept uses a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system. However, the company has not released technical specifications yet.
