Key Drivers of Sales Growth
The launch of the new Renault Duster played a major role in boosting sales. Deliveries for the Duster began in the second half of April 2026. The Duster is available in five trims: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic. It comes with two engine options: a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 99 hp and a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine delivering 161 hp. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a DCT automatic transmission.
The base variant of the Duster is priced from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for the Strong Hybrid E-Tech variant have not yet started and are expected to begin around Diwali 2026. Initial allocations for the Duster are already fully booked in major cities.
Expanded Portfolio and Network
Renault's revised portfolio, which now includes the new generation Triber and the Kiger launched in September 2025, has also contributed to the sales momentum. The company has expanded its sales and service network, opening a new R store and workshop in Ranchi during April 2026. Renault now operates 638 sales and service touch points across India, with further expansion planned.
Renault expects continued strong demand in the coming months, especially as deliveries for the Strong Hybrid E-Tech Duster commence. The company aims to build on this positive start to the financial year 2027 with its updated product lineup and wider network reach.
