Key Updates and Features

The most significant change is the addition of the Apex variant, which now serves as the entry-level model in the Guerrilla 450 range. The Apex features a handlebar positioned 56mm lower than before, providing a more aggressive riding posture while maintaining comfort. This variant also stands out visually with fresh paint schemes, a compact headlamp visor, and a sporty seat cowl, giving it a distinctive and dynamic look.
The Apex rides on new Vredestein Centuro tyres, designed to improve grip in corners and enhance the motorcycle's premium feel. The standard Guerrilla 450 variants continue with CEAT Gripp XL RE tyres, but these now use a softer compound to boost grip across various conditions. Royal Enfield claims that these changes deliver better traction, feel, and feedback, especially in both dry and wet situations. The company has not yet provided independent test results for the Dash and Flash variants.
Colour Options and Mechanical Tweaks
The Apex variant introduces three new colour choices: Apex Red, Apex Black, and Apex Green. The Dash variant receives a new Twilight Blue paint scheme, while other colours remain unchanged. These updates give the Guerrilla 450 a refreshed visual identity.
Royal Enfield has also revised the throttle maps across all ride modes. The Street mode now offers smoother and more linear throttle response, while the Sport mode delivers a stronger mid-range punch. The update addresses previous throttle jerkiness. Additionally, a new mode retention feature remembers the last selected ride mode after the ignition is turned off.
Technology and Pricing
The Tripper Dash instrument cluster now allows riders to lock their smartphone screens while using GPS navigation, improving usability. The dash also features improved smartphone connectivity for a more seamless experience.
The 2026 Guerrilla 450 Apex variant is priced at Rs. 2.49 lakh, while the Flash variant is available at Rs. 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The Guerrilla 450 competes with the KTM 390 Duke, which offers sharper performance and a more aggressive ride. However, the Guerrilla 450 appeals to riders seeking a neo-retro motorcycle with strong performance and a community-focused brand experience.
