Royal Enfield reported strong domestic sales in March 2026, reaching 1,00,406 units. This figure marks a 14.03% year-on-year (YoY) increase from 88,050 units sold in March 2025. Month-on-month (MoM), sales grew by 10.04%, reflecting steady demand across the lineup.

Domestic Sales Performance

The Classic 350 remained Royal Enfield’s top-selling motorcycle, with 37,144 units sold in March 2026. This model saw a 12.17% YoY increase, maintaining its position as the brand’s core product. The Bullet 350 followed with 23,767 units, up 8.10% YoY. The Hunter 350 posted 20,881 units, achieving a 23.13% YoY rise, indicating strong appeal among younger buyers.
The Meteor 350 registered 10,701 units, up 20.07% YoY, showing consistent demand in the cruiser segment. Together, the Classic, Bullet, Hunter, and Meteor 350cc models continue to drive Royal Enfield’s domestic volumes.
The Himalayan model posted 2,284 units, growing 40.29% YoY. The Guerrilla 450 saw the fastest growth, with sales rising 129.36% YoY to 1,906 units, though from a lower base.
In the 650cc segment, performance was mixed. The 650 Twins recorded 2,744 units, down 17.55% YoY. The Super Meteor 650 sold 806 units, a 24.46% drop, while the Shotgun 650 declined 22.77% YoY to 173 units.
Segment-Wise and Export Trends
Royal Enfield’s sub-350cc segment remains its backbone, contributing 92,493 units in March 2026, a 14.23% YoY increase. The 450cc platform is gaining traction, with sales up 70.39% YoY to 4,190 units, led by the Himalayan and Guerrilla models. The 650cc segment declined to 3,723 units, down 19.40% YoY, indicating softer demand for higher-capacity motorcycles.
On a MoM basis, most models reported growth. The Meteor 350 grew 21.37% MoM, while the Guerrilla 450 surged 151.12% MoM, showing increasing interest. The 650 Twins also saw a 24.11% MoM rise, despite a YoY decline.
In exports, Royal Enfield shipped 11,928 units in March 2026, down 8.04% YoY from 12,971 units in March 2025. Key models like the Classic 350, Himalayan, and Hunter 350 saw export declines of 21.60%, 16.73%, and 20.22% YoY, respectively. The Shotgun 650 recorded the sharpest drop at 81.98% YoY. The sub-350cc segment exports fell 14.20% YoY.
However, the Guerrilla 450 recorded export growth of 81.87% YoY, reflecting rising global interest. Meteor 350, Super Meteor 650, and 650 Twins posted modest export gains. Engine-wise, 450cc exports grew 7% YoY, while both 350cc and 650cc segments declined, indicating a shift toward newer mid-capacity models in international markets.
