Royal Enfield crosses 1 million annual sales for the first time, with the 350cc segment driving 86.43% of total sales.

Royal Enfield is known for their classic motorcycles and the company has been manufacturing them for a relatively long time. Royal Enfield’s diverse 350 cc portfolio includes Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, while under the 650 cc category comes Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Interceptor Bear 650, Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Classic 650.
The famous motorcycle manufacturing icon also includes two categories in the middle and lower end, the 450cc and 440cc, the motorcycles under these categories include the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450, and the sole Scram 440.
Royal Enfield’s 350cc category’s growth has totalled up to 86.43% of the company’s total sales as they sold 87,312 units in the previous month. When compared to the 66,363 units sold in the previous year, the 350cc bikes registered 31.57% YoY growth, which gained 20,949 units in volume and 12.26% MoM growth, which gained 9,537 units in volume.
Royal Enfield’s motorcycles above the 350cc category, contributed to 13.57% of the total sales, which amounts to 13,709 units. This marked a significant 49.21% year-on-year (YoY) growth from 9,188 units sold last year and a 6.31% month-on-month (MoM) increase from 12,895 units in the previous month. The volume growth amounted to 4,521 units YoY and 814 units MoM.
RE’s domestic sales of 88,050 units which amount to 87.16% of its total sales, experienced a 33.32% YoY growth with 22,006 units of volume gain and an 8.97% MoM growth with 7,251 units gained in volume. Concerning exports, Royal Enfield shipped 12,971 units which yielded a 36.44% YoY and 31.41% MoM growth.
Export volume growth stood at 3,464 units YoY and 3,100 units MoM. Overall, Royal Enfield sold 1,01,021 units, marking a significant 33.71% YoY increase compared to 75,551 units in March 2024, with a volume gain of 25,470 units. On a MoM basis, sales grew by 11.42% from 90,670 units in February 2025, reflecting a volume increase of 10,351 units.
For the year to date (YTD), Royal Enfield achieved a historic milestone by surpassing 1 million annual sales for the first time, reaching a total of 10,09,900 units. This represents a 10.65% YoY growth with an additional 97,168 units sold. Breaking it down, 9,02,757 units were from domestic sales in FY25, while 1,07,143 units were exported. Of the total sales, 8,68,667 units (86.02%) were 350cc motorcycles, while 1,41,233 units (13.98%) belonged to the above-350cc segment.
