Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 Bobber Upcoming Bike - Details Inside

Royal Enfield Shotgun 350, a Bobber from the RE is reportedly in the works and the bike will share the J-platform with the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Classic 350, and Hunter 350.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is the first RE bike in India to be built on the brand's J-platform, followed by the Classic 350 and Hunter 350. Now, the company intends to release more models based on the J design, including as the new-generation Bullet 350 and a new bobber. According to rumors, the new RE 350cc bobber could be called the Royal Enfield Shotgun 350. It will be based on the Classic 350 and will have an ape hanger handlebar and a single seat. A small cowl over the headlamp, wired spoke wheels, a long exhaust pipe, and a cantilevered rider's seat will also be included. The bikemaker will add a distinctive taillamp to identify it from the RE Classic 350.

The 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine derived from the Meteor 350 will power the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 350. The motor claims to produce 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. A 5-speed gearbox on the bobber will handle the transmission tasks. It will be equipped with standard telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the back. The front and rear disc brakes will be in charge of stopping. It will also be available with rear drum brakes. The Shotgun 350 will come standard with a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

When it is released, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 will compete directly with the Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak. The bike's price is likely to be approximately Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). The model's official launch date has yet to be confirmed.

The company is currently preparing to unveil the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, which had its India premiere in Goa. It will be available in two variants: Standard and Tourer, with prices estimated to range between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh. The 648cc air and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 47bhp and 52Nm will power the bike.
