Skoda Auto India has launched its new 'Greatest On A Track' (G.O.A.T.) campaign by setting a record at the CoASTT circuit in Coimbatore. The campaign aims to highlight the brand's focus on performance and motorsport heritage. The record, recognized by the India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records, was for the 'Fastest Multi-Car Relay of a Single Manufacturer on a Circuit.'

Record-Setting Relay at CoASTT Circuit
The record attempt took place at the Coimbatore Automotive Sports and Technical Training (CoASTT) circuit. Five Skoda models participated in the relay, completing it in a combined time of 12 minutes and 30.97 seconds. The event included pit-lane driver changeovers, adding to the challenge.
The participating vehicles were the Kylaq 1.0 AT, Kushaq 1.5 DSG, Slavia 1.5 DSG, Kodiaq Selection L&K, and Octavia RS. Among these, the Octavia RS achieved the fastest lap time, clocking 2 minutes and 10.85 seconds on the 3.8-kilometer circuit.
Campaign Focus and Brand Heritage
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India, stated that motorsport DNA is inherent in the company's vehicles. He explained that the G.O.A.T. campaign aims to showcase driving dynamics, safety, and performance engineering across all segments. The campaign aligns with Skoda's broader strategy to differentiate itself in the market.
Skoda Auto India emphasized its global motorsport history, which spans over a century. The company also highlighted the legacy of its RS (Rally Sport) badge, first introduced with the Škoda 130 RS in 1975.

Skoda Auto India currently offers the Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq, and Kodiaq models in the domestic market. The company has expanded its network to over 330 customer touchpoints across 182 cities in India.
