Skoda Auto India recently revealed its highest-ever monthly sales in October 2025. The Czech Republic recorded 8,252 units compared to 6,636 units in September 2025. These figures represent a 24.4% M-o-M increase. Skoda’s relentless push to strengthen its presence paid off as the brand posted its highest-ever monthly sales, transforming market perceptions and setting new benchmarks for itself in India.
The biggest factor for the sales of Skoda was due to the recent GST 2.0 reforms and the festive season. With all such festive seasons, Skoda’s aggressive product strategy with new models also paved the way for such a significant sales hike in October 2025. This blend of innovation and customer focus establishes Skoda’s strongest foundation ever in India.
Record-Breaking Sales Figures
In October 2025, Skoda India sold 8,252 units, marking its highest-ever monthly sales in the country. This performance represents a stunning 102.3% year-on-year growth compared to October 2024, when sales stood at just 4,079 units. With a cumulative 61,607 units sold between January and October 2025, the brand has already beaten its previous annual sales record (53,721 units in 2022). All these figures come during the brand’s 25th anniversary year in India.
Skoda Kylaq: The Most-Selling Car Under the Portfolio
The newly launched Skoda Kylaq SUV proved to be a game-changer, not just attracting a flood of buyers but also driving Skoda’s overall reputation as a brand that adapts and delivers. Skoda’s sub-4-meter SUV, Kylaq, has sold over 40,000 units since its debut, capturing consumer attention with its dynamic design, value, and versatility.
This robust demand was the main driver behind the record monthly sales, especially drawing first-time buyers and SUV enthusiasts. In October 2025, the Skoda Kushaq and the Slavia models also contributed to the monthly sales in the Indian automotive market.
Other Models Powering Growth
The limited-edition versions of Kushaq and Slavia helped keep showroom traffic up, while the Octavia RS high-performance sedan sold out within just 20 minutes of its launch, demonstrating Skoda’s versatility across segments. Skoda’s manufacturing drive has also crossed the 200,000 mark in locally produced vehicles, boosting its “Made in India” credentials and supply capabilities.
Expanding the Dominance
The brand now boasts a footprint of 318 customer touchpoints across 180 Indian cities, offering accessible sales and service experiences. In October 2025, Skoda also completed a full retail rebranding, introducing its new global identity in every Indian showroom, which dominates the future growth of Skoda in India.
Conclusion
With a product lineup covering every major segment and network expansion fueling customer engagement, Skoda aims to maintain momentum into 2026. As Skoda sets new benchmarks, its October 2025 results reinforce its status as one of India’s fastest-rising automotive contenders.
