Skoda Debut Elroq EV and Vision 7S At Bharat Mobility Expo 2025

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Skoda Auto India unveiled the Elroq electric SUV, marking its Indian debut. Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, the Elroq measures 4.49 meters in length, positioning it between the Karoq and Enyaq in size. It offers three battery options with power outputs from 170 hp to 285 hp. While Skoda has not confirmed its launch in India, the company is assessing customer interest. If introduced, the Elroq would compete with models like the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Maruti e-Vitara.

Additionally, Skoda presented the Vision 7S concept, which debuted in 2022, showcasing the brand's "Modern Solid" design language and new logo. The concept features a minimalist interior with an oval-shaped steering wheel and a rotating central touchscreen. A production model based on the Vision 7S is expected by 2026, with its design elements already influencing current models like the Elroq.
