The brand has announced that it has rolled out exciting price updates following the implementation of India's new GST tax reforms. This pricing initiative just came into proceedings as a strategic move just ahead of the festive season.

With the introduction of the new GST 2.0 tax reform at the 56th GST Council Meeting in the parliament, cars up to 1200 cc with a petrol engine and 1500 cc with a diesel engine will now be classified under the 18% tax slab instead of 28% across the Indian automotive market. Based on this, Skoda India has offered the limited-period offers with the latest price cuts after the GST 2.0 implementation from September 22, 2025.

GST Reform Impact on Skoda Cars

As per the latest reports, Skoda Auto India has reduced the price of its two best-selling cars, the Skoda Kylaq and the Skoda Slavia, under the new GST tax reforms. With the new pricing structure, Skoda has also reduced the prices of the Kodiaq SUV by Rs 3.3 lakh. Furthermore, the brand has attached offers worth Rs 2.5 lakh as discount benefits across the whole car portfolio.

1. Skoda Slavia: The popular sedan gains GST savings of up to Rs 63,000 plus festive benefits of Rs 1.2 lakh. Revised prices following GST changes start at Rs. 9.99 lakh, enhancing its value proposition in the mid-sized sedan segment. The new pricing of the Skoda Slavia’s 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI lineups will be effective from September 22, 2025.
