Sportline Exterior and Interior Features

The Kushaq Sportline features slim LED headlamps with distinctive daytime running lights and a gloss black illuminated grille. LED fog lamps and a gloss black skid plate complete the front design. The side profile includes gloss black 17-inch alloy wheels, blacked-out A-, B-, and C-pillars, and a 'Sportline' badge on the front fender. Dark chrome accents are present on the body-coloured door handles. Roof rails, a sharkfin antenna, and body cladding remain standard.
At the rear, the Sportline adds gloss black trim on the bumper, black garnish on the tailgate, and a body-coloured roof spoiler. A 'Sportline' badge is also present on the tailgate for identification.
Inside, the dashboard adopts a dark grey theme with black fabric seats. The steering wheel and gear knob are finished in leatherette. Aluminium pedals add a sporty touch. The variant includes a digital instrument cluster and a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. Front occupants have a sliding centre armrest with storage. Rear passengers benefit from AC vents, a centre armrest with cupholders, and USB Type-C charging ports.
Equipment, Safety, and Powertrain
The Sportline shares most features with the Signature trim. Key features include a single-pane sunroof, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AI assistant, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 8-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, height-adjustable driver seat, and wireless phone charger.
The Sportline does not offer 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, a larger digital instrument cluster, rear seat massager, or panoramic sunroof. These features are reserved for higher variants.
Safety equipment includes 6 airbags, rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill hold control, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto-dimming inside rear view mirror, electronic differential lock, and a rear wiper with defogger.
The Sportline is available only with a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Higher variants offer a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a dual-clutch transmission.
Skoda has priced the Sportline variant between Rs 14.74 lakh and Rs 15.74 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the chosen powertrain.
Market Position and Rivals
The Kushaq Sportline competes with compact SUVs such as the Renault Duster, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, and Volkswagen Taigun. The Taigun, which shares its platform with the Kushaq, is also due for a facelift soon.
