Skoda Slavia Facelift interior spied ahead of 2026 India launch

The upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift’s interior has been spotted, revealing key details about the midsize sedan’s dashboard. The new model is expected to launch in India by late 2026. The spy images show a touchscreen infotainment system and steering wheel design that closely resemble those in the current Slavia.

Exterior Design and Engine Options

Test mules have shown new LED lighting elements in the headlights and a redesigned taillight. The facelift may also feature a grille similar to the Kushaq and Kodiaq, with embedded lighting elements. Revised front and rear bumpers and new alloy wheels are expected as part of the exterior update.

The Skoda Slavia facelift is set to continue with the same engine options as the current model. These include a 115 HP, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 150 HP, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. The 1.0-liter engine will retain the 6-speed manual gearbox and is expected to gain a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, replacing the older 6-speed unit. The 1.5-liter engine will continue with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Interior Features and Updates

The current Skoda Slavia offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a two-spoke steering wheel with silver scroll wheels for music and cruise control. The facelifted model is likely to retain these features. However, changes in the interior theme and seat upholstery are expected. Skoda may introduce a rear-seat massage function, a feature added to the Kushaq facelift in January 2026.

The facelifted Slavia is also expected to receive a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, similar to the one in the Kushaq, and front parking sensors. Other features likely to continue include a single-pane sunroof, wireless phone charger, 8-speaker sound system, automatic climate control with rear vents, six airbags as standard, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Pricing and Competition

With the facelift, the price of the Skoda Slavia is expected to rise from the current range of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated sedan will continue to compete with the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City in the midsize sedan segment.
