Tata Curvv ICE Set to Unveil tomorrow: Here's What to Expect

The much-awaited Tata Curvv ICE is all set to unveil on July 19, and it's generating a lot of excitement in the automotive industry as it will be the first SUV Coupe in India. Here are some key things you can expect from the upcoming coupe SUV:

Tata Curvv Design

The design of the vehicle features a coupe-style roofline with a sloping roof, connected LED DRLs and taillights, and flush-type door handles, marking a first for Tata cars. It boasts a distinctive SUV-coupe body style. 

Curvv Features

Inside, it offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone auto AC, wireless phone charging, and a 360-degree camera. The vehicle is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and forward collision warning. 

Powertrain

Powering the vehicle are two engine options: a 1.2-litre TGDi petrol engine producing 125 PS/225 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115 PS/260 Nm. Both engines come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, with an option for an automatic transmission—dual-clutch for petrol and 6-speed AMT for diesel. 

Safety

Safety features include six airbags as standard across all variants, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold and hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Price and Rivals

Expected price: Rs 10.50 lakh Rs 15.00 lakh (ex-showroom)
Rivals: Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen Basalt, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The Tata Curvv ICE is set to launch on 7th of August, and it will be available in five variants: Smart, Smart Plus, Pure, Creative, and Creative+. With its unique design, feature-packed cabin, and powerful engine options, the Curvv ICE is set to make a big impact in the Indian automotive market.
