Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has finally lifted the curtain by unveiling the production-ready version of the legendary Tata Sierra. The vehicle was showcased at the grand Sierra Brand Day in Mumbai. The Sierra returns not as a nostalgic replica but as a reimagining infused with modern design, innovation, and the spirit of adventure, linking the past, present, and future.
The new Sierra captures the essence of its original 1991 silhouette while redefining what a contemporary Indian SUV embodies. The car will be officially launched on November 25, 2025. This iconic SUV now embraces modern technology and luxury while preserving the freedom and individuality that made the original an SUV legend.

The most prominent factor of the new Tata Sierra is its all-new, refreshed design philosophy. It carries forward the timeless silhouette with a boxy frame and a mix of simple and contemporary aesthetics. The iconic three-quarter glasshouse evolves into a panoramic roof with flush glazing and a black-painted roof finisher, enhancing the sense of openness and lightness, just like the original Sierra from the 90s.
At the front, the car offers full-width LED Light Saber daytime running lights, and a slim rear light bar adds a cutting-edge, technological stance. The clamshell tailgate, wide rear haunches, and a floating-roof effect balance power with sophistication, making a striking road presence. The large 19-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles, and gloss-black cladding complete the confident and sophisticated appearance.

Inside, the new Sierra introduces an innovative "Life Space" interior concept inspired by communal living rooms that foster connection across generations. The cabin is anchored by the TheatrePro multi-screen system with a Horizon View layout, offering personalized digital experiences for driver and passenger alike. Complemented by the JBL Black 12-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, it creates an immersive soundscape unlike any other in its segment.
Natural, tactile materials in earthy hues combined with subtle metallic accents enhance the interior’s warmth. Ambient lighting and the PanoraMax sunroof flood the cabin with natural light, reinforcing spaciousness and comfort, delivering what Tata Motors calls "a living room on wheels."
