Tata Motors is ready to wrap up the curtain on the most iconic nameplates in Indian automotive history. The brand has crafted a performance SUV that blends heritage with cutting-edge technology, bold design, and segment-leading features. The all-new Tata Sierra will make a comeback on November 25, 2025, bringing back the 90s nostalgia to the new generations of drivers.
Positioned to challenge established rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and Skoda Kodiaq, the Sierra is not just a comeback. It’s about delivering a compelling package that ticks every box for performance, safety, comfort, and style. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Tata Sierra.

The Tata Sierra’s design is a masterclass in blending retro cues with modern aesthetics. The front fascia of the car offers distinctive LED lighting, creating a commanding road presence that easily outshines rivals like the Creta and Seltos. For the 2025 edition, the brand offers six vibrant color options, including Bengal Rouge and Andaman Adventure, catering to buyers who want their SUV to stand out in the crowd.
Talking about the dimensions, the new Sierra seems longer and wider than most rivals—giving it a spacious and premium look. Inside, the Sierra features a triple-screen dashboard, multi-color ambient lighting, and a JBL 12-speaker sound system, creating a cabin that feels both luxurious and futuristic.
The 2025 Tata Sierra sets a new benchmark for performance in the midsize SUV segment. It debuts Tata’s flagship 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, producing 170 HP and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The SUV’s 19-inch alloy wheels not only add to its road presence but also improve handling and stability. With a focus on delivering a dynamic driving experience, the Sierra is engineered to appeal to enthusiasts who crave both power and precision.

The Tata Sierra’s cabin is a showcase of Tata’s commitment to luxury and technology. The triple-screen dashboard comprises a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a passenger display. The vehicle also offers a JBL 12-speaker sound system with a SonicSound bar that delivers an immersive audio experience, while ventilated and powered front seats ensure maximum comfort.
The Sierra also boasts a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, extendable sun visors, and manually adjustable under-thigh support for the front occupants. The most prominent features offer advanced safety features, including Level 2 ADAS, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist.

The Sierra’s launch is a game-changer for the Indian SUV market, challenging both value and premium players.
