Tata Tiago Facelift CNG revealed with paddle shifters, updated features
The updated Tata Tiago CNG brings a fresh design, enhanced features, and innovative paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience in the affordable hatchback segment.

Tata Motors has unveiled the facelifted Tiago CNG, following the earlier preview of the petrol variant. The new video confirms that the CNG model will feature paddle shifters for the AMT, making it the first in its segment to offer this feature. The Tiago CNG facelift shares most of its design and features with the petrol version, except for CNG-specific elements.
Key Highlights
- Tata Tiago CNG facelift debuts with segment-first AMT paddle shifters
- No mechanical changes with 1.2-litre engine and 75.5 HP output for CNG variant
- Interior updates include digital driver's display and 10.25-inch touchscreen
- Expected price increase of up to Rs 30000 over current model
Design and Feature Enhancements

The updated 2026 Tata Tiago Facelift CNG includes a 360-degree camera, two wireless charging pads, a rotary gear selector, and push-button start/stop. These features aim to enhance convenience and technology inside the cabin. Most changes focus on the interior and soft parts, giving the hatchback a refreshed and modern look.
On the exterior, the facelift brings new bumpers, redesigned LED headlamps and taillamps connected by contrasting bands, and a new alloy wheel design. The changes align the Tiago CNG with current design trends in the hatchback segment.
Key Features and Updates

The facelifted Tiago CNG will be launched with prices announced on May 28. Tata Motors has not made any mechanical changes to the model. The current Tiago petrol uses a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 86 HP. In the CNG version, power output is 75.5 HP. Both petrol and CNG variants come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, and a 5-speed AMT is available as an option.
The dual-cylinder CNG setup, which saves space in the boot, will continue in the updated model. The direct start-in-CNG feature is also expected to remain. The interior includes two free-standing screens: a central 10.25-inch touchscreen and a new digital driver's display, replacing the previous LCD unit. The dashboard has been redesigned with a layered layout for a more modern appearance.
Pricing and Market Position
The current Tiago CNG manual transmission is priced between Rs 5.54 lakh and Rs 7.4 lakh, ex-showroom. The AMT variants range from Rs 7.32 lakh to Rs 7.92 lakh. The facelifted model is expected to see a price increase of up to Rs 30,000, depending on the variant. The Tiago CNG continues to compete with models such as the Maruti Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
