The American automotive giant, Tesla, has finally made its highly anticipated debut in India. The company has revealed the Model Y along with the opening of the first Tesla India showroom in Mumbai. The bookings for the all-new Model Y will be open from July 15, 2025, for the electric crossover SUV.
The Model Y arrives as a fully imported vehicle, blending refined performance, Tesla’s futuristic technology suite, and class-leading range. With such advanced technology and specifications, the brand is prepared to judge and raise its expectations for the Indian mobility future. For Indian buyers or consumers, Tesla has also launched a curated website so that buyers can specify the car according to their preferences before the actual purchase.
The launch also signifies Tesla’s intent to invest long-term in the Indian mobility space, with expanded showrooms and Supercharger stations expected to soon follow. The company is expected to open its next showroom in Delhi or Gurugram.
