Nissan Gravite: India's new affordable 7-seater MPV launched at Rs 5.65 lakh. Spacious, safe, and feature-packed rival to Triber. Check prices, specs & early reviews.

Nissan India has finally pulled off the curtain of its much-awaited 7-seater compact MPV in the Indian automotive landscape. The all-new Nissan Gravite has launched in India with an introductory price of Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 5,000 units. This sub-4m MPV utilizes the same CMF-A platform shared with the Renault Triber, offering fresh styling with Nissan’s branding for entry-level customers.
With 5 variants on offer, including a limited Launch Edition packed with extras like JBL audio and a dual dashcam, the Gravite targets budget-conscious families craving space, safety, and modern touches. Bookings are live now, offering perks like zero service costs for five years on early units. Let’s take a look at the all-new Nissan Gravite and experience its specs and features as the second sub-4m MPV in the Indian market.
Striking Exterior Design

While looking at the car at first glance, we can see that some proportions of the design seem familiar with the current Renault Triber. However, the front fascia of the car offers some design tweaks, as the Gravite comes with a bolder face with a piano-black honeycomb front grille flanked by deep LED DRLs.
To give the car a more muscular look, 'Gravite' lettering gleams on the bonnet and on the tailgate as well. Available in five colors, like Forest Green and Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Snow White, and Metallic Grey. Moreover, the special Launch Edition amps it up with orange accents and white tyre decals.
Spacious Refined Cabin
While getting inside the car, you might witness the cabin of the Triber, but in a more premium finish. Yes, you heard it right; the Nissan Gravite’s cabin feels airy and has much more space when compared to that of the Triber’s cabin. The customer will get an upscale with a dual-tone dashboard boasting wooden finishes and plush suede-leatherette seats. With different trim levels available, the dashboard might feature an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 7-inch digital driver’s display.
Features That Inspire

With the 5+2 seating configuration, the car provides ample space for headroom as well as legroom. Not only the space but also the features of the car look more premium than what we get in the Renault Triber. Talking about the features, the car offers the following:
- Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
- Push-Button Start/Stop
- Advanced Cruise Control
- Automatic LED headlamps
- Rain-Sensing Wipers
- 6-Airbags as standard
- Automatic Climate Control
- JBL Sound System
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
The Launch Edition also offers premium features with ambient lighting, an air purifier, and neck cushions.
Nissan Gravite: Powertrain and Efficiency

Now, coming to the powertrain of the vehicle. The 2026 Nissan Gravite carries the same mechanical strains as the current Renault Triber. The car will be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 72 HP of power and 96 Nm of peak torque.
Paired with the 5-speed manual transmission setup. An option for the 5-speed AMT might be available for the Indian customers. Nissan claims that the car can be good, providing mileage of about 19.3 kmpl with the manual transmission, while with the automatic, it can easily provide 19.6 kmpl. A dealer-fit CNG option is coming soon for even better running costs in manual form.
