In India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the much awaited Fortuner Legender 4x4 with a manual gearbox. This new product, which retails for ₹46.36 lakh (ex-showroom), is aimed at drivers who want the engagement and control of a manual transmission.
A sturdy 2.8-liter diesel engine that produces 204 PS and 420 Nm of torque powers the Fortuner Legender 4x4 manual. It is perfect for both city driving and off-road excursions thanks to its 6-speed manual transmission and Toyota's cutting-edge 4x4 technology.
The SUV's dramatic and high-end style is still there, with features like an 18-inch alloy wheel, LED lighting, and a piano-black grille. The cabin's interior has an enhanced 11-speaker JBL sound system, ambient lighting, and a sumptuous dual-tone black and maroon motif. Dual-zone temperature control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated front seats are further highlights.
The Fortuner Legender portfolio is now expanded with this new model, giving Indian SUV consumers additional alternatives. It strengthens Toyota's position in the high-end SUV market by competing with vehicles like the MG Gloster and Jeep Meridian.
