Domestic sales for the first two months of 2026 rose by 16.69% to 61,367 units. This is an increase of 8,775 units over the 52,592 units sold in the same period of 2025. Exports for January and February 2026 climbed by 26.07% to 6,547 units, up by 1,354 units from 5,193 units in the previous year.

Mr. Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, attributed the sales growth to continued customer trust in Toyota’s quality and reliability. He noted sustained demand across the product portfolio and highlighted positive feedback for the recently launched Tech Package for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This package aims to enhance in-cabin comfort and convenience.
Toyota plans to expand its product lineup in the coming months. The company has unveiled the Ebella EV, with pricing details to be announced soon. This launch will strengthen Toyota’s presence in the mass electric vehicle segment in India.
