VinFast has already started manufacturing cars in India. However, beyond the sea, VinFast in its hometown has officially become the first automobile brand in Vietnam to surpass 100,000 vehicle sales within nine months of 2025. This remarkable accomplishment follows 11 consecutive months of leading the domestic automotive market, showcasing its dominance and widespread popularity among local consumers.
For the 2025 season, VinFast was able to sell 13,914 electric vehicles across its lineup. Thus, the brand pushed itself to deliver around 103,884 units in 2025 alone. With such tremendous sales figures, VinFast became the best-selling carmaker in Vietnam, driving the nation’s shift towards electric mobility with innovative and accessible products.
VinFast Experienced Record-Breaking Sales in 2025
The Vietnamese automaker has scored a surpassing record of selling 100,000 cars within the first three quarters of the 2025 season. In September 2025, the brand alone sold about 13,914 units of electric vehicles, bringing the total sales for the first nine months to 103,914 units for the first time in Vietnamese automotive history. The sustained success establishes VinFast as the clear leader both in the broader automotive market and the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment.

The brand currently offers 5 electric cars across the portfolio for the Vietnamese automotive market. The entry-level model is the all-new VinFast VF3, tagged as the national “electric car” due to its rapid sales figures. The VF3 sold around 3,386 units in its first nine months of the year, which also includes 2,862 units in September 2025 alone.
The second spot is shared by the VF5, which has sold around 30,956 units over the same period, and in September 2025, the brand managed to sell 3,847 units, making it the best-selling electric hatchback across the portfolio. Then comes the VF 6 at the third spot, with sales figures reaching about 14,425 units since the start of the 2025 season.
The most premium and top-of-the-line electric vehicle, the VF 7, recorded 5,887 sales over nine months. However, the car only sold around 778 units in September 2025. While the Limo Green, the brand’s only 7-seater MPV, saw a sales surge of about 2120 units of vehicles delivered to customers.
Visionary Market Approach

We are deeply grateful for their confidence and remain committed to delivering greater value to the family of VinFast, thereby accelerating Vietnam’s green transition.”
A Milestone for Vietnam’s Automotive Industry
VinFast's achievement is unprecedented in the Vietnamese automobile market. The brand has outperformed both domestic and international gasoline and electric carmakers for 11 consecutive months. This milestone underscores the rising demand and acceptance of electric vehicles as the mainstream mobility solution across the country.
