VinFast Unveils Lac Hong 900 LX Fleet for Vietnam’s 80th National Day, Showcasing National Pride

The Vietnamese electric vehicle pioneer has once again made headlines in the automotive industry. Not in India, but within its own automotive landscape. As per the latest reports, on the occasion of Vietnam’s 80th National Day celebration, VinFast has recently delivered its Lac Hong LX fleet, an SUV specially designed for international leaders, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Lac Hong 900 LX is not just a car; it's a representation of rich cultural heritage at the memorable celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day. The iconic Lac Hong 900 LX is available in both Standard and Armored editions, serving as a symbol of national identity as well as hope, trust, and sovereignty.

A Flagship Model Rich in Heritage and Symbolism

The Lac Hong 900 LX is a limited-edition model that was inspired by the Vietnamese legend of the “Descendants of the Dragon & Fairy.” This resonates with the nation’s cultural legacy within the car craftsmanship and aspiration through the design and development of the vehicle. Tagged under the name of “Fierce Vietnamese Spirit,” the car holds the history and legacy of Vietnam’s national pride.

While looking at the vehicle, the car offers a sleek, rugged design with a muscular stance through the front fascia. These are the Standard and Armored Edition variants. Both designs of the vehicle feature a gold-plated mythical Lac bird logo, a grille inspired by Dong Son bronze drums, and parallel bars reminiscent of bamboo groves.

Premium Interiors

When you step inside the car, you will witness tremendous craftsmanship. Inside the cabin, you might feel like you are sitting inside the ultra-premium luxury German cars. The seatings with premium upholstery are wrapped with premium materials such as golden nanmu wood and Nappa leather. Additional highlights of the interior include executive seating, soundproof partitions, electric curtains, and an advanced intercom system, delivering an elite experience for state leaders.

Experience and Exhibition

The Lac Hong 900 LX is so special that it is defined as the national identity for the nation. Every design, engineering, and development of this car salutes the country’s industrial achievements and remembers the sacrifice after 80 years of independence. Normal people cannot purchase or drive this car because it is a gift for state governors and ministers.

However, during the National Day celebration, the car will be put on display by the brand from August 28, 2025, to September 5, 2025. This car will be placed at the National Exhibition Fair Centre in Hanoi. Visitors can come and explore both the standard and armored variants of the vehicle at the indoor exhibition hall H3, Kim Ouy Pavilion.
