VinFast India has officially marked its entry into India with the launch of the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The company has just announced that these vehicles are now available for bookings at just Rs 21,000. However, the car will be officially launched for public sale in August 2025. Along with the official sale launch, the company will also inaugurate its new assembly plant in Thoothukudi.

With bookings now available, Indian customers can now easily choose their preferred VinFast drives, the VF6 or VF7, by visiting the nearest showroom. VinFast India's greatest India debut is powered by the newly operational Thoothukudi plant in Tamil Nadu. The company has made a huge investment of about $500 million in the plant construction. This new plant will be capable of producing 150,000 vehicles annually and creating about 3,500 direct jobs.

VinFast aims for quick customer access through 32 outlets across 27 cities, targeting 35 dealerships by year-end. The company has already established business relationships with 13 dealership groups.
