Volkswagen Launches Flash Red Color Virtus and Taigun for Onam Celebration in Kerala
Volkswagen India celebrates Onam in Kerala with the launch of an exclusive Flash Red color on the GT Line trims of Virtus and Taigun. Both models offer customers the perfect choice between sedan elegance and SUV versatility.

Volkswagen India has recently introduced an all-new ‘flash-red’ color for its Virtus and Taigun GT Line trim variants. This new color scheme coincides with the upcoming Onam festival in Kerala. Catering to the state’s love for bold aesthetics, this limited edition colorway accentuates the sporty GT Line trim, making the cars even more dynamic for the festive season.
The launch of these limited-edition models will coincide with Onam, one of Kerala’s grandest festivals. With this the brand will be highlighting Volkswagen’s focus on blending cultural connection with automotive essence. Kerala has always been a significant market player for the brand. Virtus controls nearly half of the premium sedan market in Kerala.
The carmaker handed over 106 vehicles to customers, stating its growing trajectory across the state. Moreover, the Virtus is one of the highest-selling premium sedans in the state, holding about 49% of the market share in the premium sedan segment.
