On-Road Prices in Major Cities
The on-road price of a car includes road tax, registration charges, and other fees. For the Volkswagen Taigun, all variants are priced above Rs 10 lakh, so a 1% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) applies. Insurance premiums and other costs may vary by location and individual circumstances.
Delhi
In Delhi, the on-road price for the Taigun ranges from Rs 12.67 lakh for the Comfortline MT (base variant) to Rs 22.12 lakh for the GT Plus Sport DSG (top variant).

In Mumbai, buyers will pay between Rs 13.11 lakh and Rs 22.92 lakh on-road for the Taigun, depending on the variant.
Bengaluru
The on-road price in Bengaluru is higher, ranging from Rs 13.77 lakh to Rs 23.98 lakh for the Taigun.
Chennai
In Chennai, the Taigun costs between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 23.91 lakh on-road, covering all available variants.
Kolkata
Kolkata sees on-road prices between Rs 12.88 lakh and Rs 22.49 lakh. West Bengal offers an option to pay road tax for 5 years instead of the 15-year lifetime tax, which can reduce the initial cost.

Facelift Features and Specifications


The Taigun facelift introduces several exterior updates. These include a new front fascia with swept-back headlamps, a slim grille with a connected LED light bar, illuminated logos, and redesigned dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear features updated connected LED taillamps.
Inside, the Taigun now offers a larger digital instrument cluster, a new grey and black cabin theme, and a panoramic sunroof. Feature highlights include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AI assistant, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-speaker sound system, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and an air purifier.
Safety features include 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist, rear view camera, parking sensors at both ends, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Taigun is available with two turbo-petrol engine options. The smaller engine offers a manual gearbox, while automatic options include a torque converter and a dual-clutch transmission.
