Yamaha just came up with a new NMax 125 Tech Max scooter. This is Yamaha's one of the best sports scooters which is loaded with technological advancements, style, and exclusiveness. This new variant comes with several technological upgrades while retaining the same engine and mechanical components as its native variant.
However, according to the latest reports, it is still uncertain that if this scooter will be available in India. Additionally, this scooter is expected to be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo in New Delhi. It is also revealed that Yamaha is considering Nmax 155 to launch in the Indian market instead.
One of the standout features of the NMax 125 Tech Max is its instrument cluster. It comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display, which provides a full-color interface and multiple customisable themes for personalisation. Additionally, depending upon the region, this cluster will also include a Garmin Navigation system for seamless GPS connectivity on the go. This navigation system will be provided only in selected countries for free.
The scooter also includes a Link Card Module which enables its users to access various connectivity options. This will contribute to the overall rider convenience to view emails, answer calls, receive SMS notifications, listen to music, etc. Additionally, it features a Type-C USB charger located in the front left pocket and a weatherproof storage compartment on the right for small items like wallets and keys. The Keyless Ignition System increases convenience by allowing users to start the scooter without inserting a physical key. This feature is also helpful in reducing vehicle theft risks.
In terms of eco-friendliness, the NMax 125 Tech Max meets Euro5+ emission standards and includes a Start & Stop system that automatically shuts off the engine when steady. Then, it restarts with a simple twist of the throttle.
The scooter includes 25 liters of under-seat storage that provides ample space for a full-size helmet or other essentials like groceries or personal stuff. When talking about the design, it features dual-eye projector headlights with LED lamps and integrated flashers which gives it a sporty look. Going back to the rear, it has stylish LED taillights for its modern appearance. For added luxury, the seat is made from black leather with gold stitching and suede detailing. When it comes to colors, Yamaha offers two color options namely Ceramic Grey and Dark Magma.
The NMax 125 Tech Max retains its 125cc engine, which produces 12.2 PS of power and 11.2 Nm of torque, paired with a V-belt automatic gearbox. The scooter features telescopic forks at the front and unit swing suspension at the rear, both equipped with 13-inch wheels and disc brakes for reliable stopping power. It has a wet weight of 132 kg, a ground clearance of 125 mm, and a seat height of 770 mm for optimal control and handling.
Yamaha revealed this scooter for those who want the premium version of the NMax 125 scooter. What enhances the appeal of the NMax 125 Tech MAX is its convenient accessibility and everyday practicality. Tailored for both work commutes and urban personal rides, it serves as the perfect scooter for car drivers and returning riders seeking the freedom that comes with two wheels.
