Yamaha Motor India is making ways to expand its portfolio in India. The Japanese two-wheeler giant has expanded the FZ portfolio with the recent launch of the new 2025 FZ Rave variant. This new motorcycle was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.17 Lakh (ex-showroom). Along with the launch of the all-new Yamaha XSR 155. The FZ Rave is set to redefine urban commuting with its bold design, advanced features, and Yamaha’s signature performance.
The bike is positioned as a stylish, agile, and value-packed option for young riders seeking a blend of sportiness and practicality in their daily rides. Yamaha has focused on making the FZ Rave not just a commuter but a statement of style and confidence. With its aggressive stance, LED lighting, and modern instrumentation, the FZ Rave is poised to attract a new generation of riders who want more than just a reliable bike. Let’s check out the latest offering from the all-new Yamaha FZ Rave.
From what I see, from the latest pictures surfaced on the internet, the Yamaha FZ Rave boasts a sharp, muscular look with a redesigned headlamp cluster, LED DRLs, and a sporty tail section. The tank shroud and side panels have been sculpted to give the bike a more aggressive stance, while the new color options add to its visual appeal. The seat is comfortable for both city rides and short highway jaunts, and the overall ergonomics ensure a relaxed riding posture. For the 2025 edition, the bike is available in two distinct colors, such as Matte Titan and Metallic Black.
Talking about its core heart, the Yamaha FZ Rave is powered by a 149 cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that delivers 12.2 HP of power and produces 13.3 Nm of torque. The engine is tuned for smooth city riding and responsive acceleration, making it ideal for urban commutes. The 5-speed manual gearbox ensures seamless shifts, while the BS6-2.0 compliant engine meets the latest emission norms.
The bike offers a kerb weight of 136 kg and is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels. The all-new FZ Rave promises quick direction changes without feeling any discomfort. A 13-liter fuel tank gives the rider more power to travel overseas.
The FZ Rave comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster, LED lighting all around, and a single-channel ABS for improved safety. The bike also features alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, and a comfortable seat height of 790 mm, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. Yamaha has also focused on rider comfort with a well-cushioned seat and a lightweight chassis for easy maneuverability.
