Why is the 7XO the next-gen car?

XUV 7XO is one of the most sought-after cars that has been launched in the automobile market. It was a careful yet smart strategy to unveil it just after the Seltos launch. Raised eyebrows? Well, that’s expected. The 7XO was meant to be designed for car enthusiasts.  Technology is what Mahindra has played with in its model. Let’s deep dive, shall we?

What makes it different from its previous version, XUV700?

The roof has a new look! It now has black roof rails, sharing a sporty look. The signature grill is the talk! It’s a Piano-black grill displaying sheer confidence to take on the roads, along with its new and improved iconic lighting. The DRL (one of the main charms) is seen as a single strip instead of the two-thin strips in the XUV700. Alloy wheels are one deciding factor and a crowd puller when it comes to new and updated car launches. The 19-inch alloy wheels (in the top model) & 17-inch / 18-inch are an attraction. Have you heard of the DaVinci Technology? 7XO has it! This kind of tech allows for independent suspension & frequency-damping that makes your ride more stable and comfortable.

What’s with Adrenox – The Smart AI tech in the 7XO?

Your eye is drawn to the bumper’s muscular, layered build, starting with the wide black cladding and finishing with a sharp silver skid plate that adds a premium touch. Not a 360-degree camera, but 7XO comes with a 540-degree camera, too, in its base model (XUV700 had a 360-degree camera)! Woah! How would you want to utilize the triple-screen entertainment cluster (powered by Adrenox+) feature? It gives you a cinematic feel!

Imagine yourself entering the cinema, as soon as you enter your car, and your screens are on! You think and decide! It’s an infotainment system with a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, inclusive of Alexa & ChatGPT. 16 speaker system Harman/Kardon Sound system, now that’s a killer! AdrenoX is the 'brain' inside Mahindra vehicles. It’s a smart AI system built alongside Bosch and Amazon to bring seamless connectivity to your drive. Why the name changes to XUV 7XO?

7XO hints at 700 (7 Double O = 7XO), aligning to their modern naming convention (similar to XUV 3XO). Our fun theory is that Mahindra went with 'XO' mostly because it’s how everyone actually says it. Why use five syllables when two do the trick? It’s easy to speak and not make us tired each time we mention the car model. XO is a modern-day and Gen-Z slang that is trending in speeches and gestures (the XO line gives an inherent Gen-Z touch!).

The Gorgeous Colors of XUV 7XO

Decided on the color? XUV 7XO comes in Galaxy Grey STH Black (mix of grey and black), Desert Myst STH Black (Mix of Off-White & Black), Midnight Black, Everest White STH Black (mix of white and grey), Nebula Blue, Midnight Black, Desert Myst (Off-White), Galaxy Grey, Ruby Velvet & Stealth Black.

​Our personal favorite is Ruby Velvet, such a fine-textured color! It also stands out from the remaining colors as a flamboyant and royal one.
