Mahindra XUV 7XO Debuts Today: Here’s Everything You Need To Know
Mahindra’s new XUV 7XO debuts as a tech-forward evolution of the XUV700, bringing a bold new design, a triple-screen interior, richer features and an advanced ADAS system.

Mahindra is ready to unwrap the curtain from its much-anticipated XUV 7XO, the heavily updated successor to the XUV 700, which is being unveiled in India today as the brand’s new ICE flagship SUV. Positioned above the XUV 3XO, it brings a bolder design, a triple‑screen cabin, and a serious tech upgrade, while retaining the powertrains buyers already trust.
Targeted at premium family SUV buyers and chauffeur-driven owners, the XUV 7XO doubles down on in-cabin experience, connected tech, and safety. With pre-bookings already underway and prices to be announced at today’s event, it aims to strengthen Mahindra’s hold in the three-row SUV space against rivals from Tata, Hyundai, MG, and Kia.
New Exterior Design

Up front, the XUV 7XO adopts a more assertive face with XEV 9S-inspired lighting, featuring prominent boomerang-shaped DRLs, trapezoidal LED headlamps, and a redesigned grille for a sharper visual signature.
Revised front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, and fresh tail lamps with hexagonal detailing help distinguish it clearly from the outgoing XUV 700 while preserving its strong road presence.
Upgraded Interior and Triple-Screen Cabin

While getting inside the car, there is a new triple-screen dashboard, echoing the XEV 9S, with a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, and a dedicated passenger-side screen on higher variants. Mahindra is pairing this with a fresh tan-and-black or dual-tone cabin theme and a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Twin Peaks logo.
Mahindra XUV 7XO: Multiple Engine Options Available

Under the hood, the XUV 7XO continues with the proven XUV 700 powertrains. The base variant is equipped with a 2.0L Stallion turbo-petrol engine that produces 200 HP of power and 380 Nm of torque. The top variant might offer a 2.2L mHawk diesel engine that revs up to about 185 HP of power and 450 Nm of torque.
Safety Advancement
Higher trims are expected to feature a more advanced Level 2 ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking, now visualized more intuitively via upgraded digital displays.
